1. FEELING BOXED IN!
We’ve found that the main reason people are hesitant to try Float Therapy, even though their body and mind is begging them to, is not the most common reason which is ‘Claustrophobia’ but the idea of being enclosed, in the dark and not knowing where you are.
Then there is the silliness that your mind conjures up as it begins to come up with scenarios such as ” is somebody going to sit on the door?” or “saran wrap the lid shut?!”
Well, the float therapy rooms at Fluid Float Studio are not equipped with “pods” or “tanks”—they’re CABINS. At almost 5 feet wide, eight feet long, and nearly seven feet high with sliding or regular doors, they ensure that nobody gets claustrophobic during their session. What’s more, they don’t even have to be in the dark. It doesn’t HAVE to be total sensory deprivation. With optional remote controlled music and lights, clients can create their own custom mood, from introspective silence to soothing ambience to peaceful rave. Including an intercom that you can communicate with staff whenever you want.
